Daymar College is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools. On December 12, 2016, the Department of Education ended its recognition of ACICS as a recognized accreditor. As an institution accredited by ACICS, Daymar has 18 months from the date of this decision (until June 12, 2018) to obtain accreditation from a different recognized accreditor. Although Daymar College has begun the process of pursuing accreditation with a recognized accreditor, Daymar does not have an In Progress Application submitted to that agency at this time. If Daymar College is unable to obtain accreditation with a different recognized accreditor by June 12, 2018, it will no longer be eligible to receive funds under Title IV, HEA Funds.
