The Cardiographic Technology program is a specialization of basic EKG technician training. This program also features EKG technician training for administering and interpreting rhythm and 12 lead EKG/ECG readouts, Holter monitoring, stress testing, and telemetry surveillance for hospitals and cardiology offices in Kentucky.
Students are expected to be prepared to take the Certified Cardiographic Examination to become a Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT). This exam is available through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), an independent certification organization.
