It has come to our attention there are numerous organizations targeting students with outstanding educational loans, specifically through social media outlets. These organizations are making inaccurate, false and defamatory allegations and insinuating that if you attended specific colleges you are eligible for loan forgiveness. A review of their website generally shows they are unwilling to post their company name or location.
The one circulating on social media currently is the “student Loan Forgiveness Club” and Daymar College has become a target. These organizations pull information from our websites, marketing material, social media sites and other outlets to purposefully mislead students. Although they are using our name, images and protected trademarks do not be fooled …. THIS IS A SCAM.
Please do your due diligence when it comes to researching repayment, forgiveness or consolidation programs regarding your Student Loans or anything regarding your personal and sensitive information. If you took out federal student loans to pay for college, you will NEVER have to pay to receive help managing your student loan debt. The U.S. Department of Education provides free assistance to help you.
Rest assured we are taking steps to stop these misleading advertisements on social media; in fact, this organization is currently being investigated by the Better Business Bureau.
For more information please read the announcement from the Office of the U.S. Department of Education regarding these advertisements and the organizations behind them.
